Professor Sarah Deer lectures on Gendering Federal Indian Law in the Ballroom of the Kansas Union on Nov. 2. In her lecture, she discussed the foundations of legal precedents of Federal Indian Law using intersectional feminist theory. Deer is a citizen of the Muscogee (Creek) Nation of Oklahoma.
